Our Story.
At SDG Youth Connect, the future of the planet depends on how deeply today’s young people understand and engage with the Sustainable Development Goals. Founded in 2025 by Derin Ege Sezgin, the organization began with a clear intention to make awareness, advocacy, and action about the SDGs accessible, meaningful, and powerful.
From day one, our vision has been to grow into a leading global hub through our SDG Impact Pathways of Awareness, Advocacy, and Action. Whether making school children aware of the SDGs, pushing global leaders at the United Nations to deepen their commitments to the SDGs, or taking on-the-ground action to work for the SDGs yourself, our methods are a surefire success to give the SDGs one final boost before their conclusion in 2030.
